Hollins University Independently Arranged Internships

Students have the option to do internships for academic credit year-round, and may always arrange one independently with help from the Career Center and a faculty sponsor’s approval.* You can attend a How Do I Get There? workshop at any time to learn more.

Independently Arranged Semester and Summer Internships

Semester internships can be completed over the entire semester including Summer, and depending on the credits sought, involve either 70 total hours (2 credits) or 140 total hours (4 credits).

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to Covid-19 all Fall 2020 Internships Must Be Completed Remotely. No In-Person Internships will be sponsored by Hollins for the Fall of 2020. We apologize for any inconvenience but safety is of the utmost importance.
